The purpose of this third-year elective program is to facilitate the transition of CBC graduates from being students to becoming the ministers God has called them to be. This is accomplished by preparing individuals and ministry teams to establish Bible schools, plant churches, and serve support ministries worldwide.
To be eligible for this program you must be a graduate of CBC. After submitting an application, it is reviewed, and a follow-up interview is scheduled. The applicant will be notified if he/she has been accepted or not into the Apprenticeship Program.
The objective of this program is to help each graduate develop his/her vision through a specific step-by-step plan for entering the ministry, using a short-term goal that offers long-term possibilities. This plan may include establishing Bible schools, planting churches, or serving a support ministry. A special emphasis will be placed on everyday administrative aspects of ministry.
The benefits of this Apprenticeship Program include hands-on training in the following areas: fund raising, establishing contacts for future work with foreigners and/or nationals, actual ministerial training, setting up Bible schools and/or churches and managing the daily administration, and cross-cultural adaptation – researching the country and its people. Experienced CBC instructors will supervise all aspects of the training.
